Oh dear, I was never a runner, but a lot of long distance walking and exercised from my late 20's to mid 60's....but never pushed myself. At 77 soon, and since hip replacement, my knee and foot/ankle are all affected since leg came out shorter...it's been a nightmare...but no groin pain, which was the biggest pain going on at the tip of my decision. Now, I cannot walk very far at all, and ride my recumbent bike in living room to keep knee moving and I do knee bicycle motions on my bed. I'll check the info later.
I have a friend who's 55 yr old daughter had reconstruction surgery on her foot and it's 10 months soon and she can maybe take 3-4 steps at a time. It's really been a very very hard surgery on her. My daughter has collapsed tendon in one foot and she's raising 2 children alone and can't imagine a surgery at this point. Ah, life we never know what will be thrown to us to deal with.
