Default Tendon problems

I'm wondering if anyone else on here with PN experiences a lot of issues with their tendons.

Over the years, I've experienced tendinitis or tendinosis in a handful of tendons. I've mostly been able to attribute it to overuse, but this past January, I developed a problem in my left elbow which I think is distal bicep tendinitis. It happened in the middle of January when I wasn't active doing anything. Literally the only upper body exercise I'd gotten was shoveling the snow once. In other words, this was totally uncalled for and downright rude.

So now I'm wondering if my tendons getting hit isn't just another symptom of whatever is hitting my nerves.

In doing some reading, I know that metabolic issues (e.g. diabetes) can hit your tendons as well as your nerves, but I just can't reconcile that my blood sugar issues which don't even "officially" qualify me as a pre-diabetic are bad enough to cause this problem as well.

Has anybody else investigate tendon issues going hand-in-hand with neuropathy?
