Please don't confuse magnesium with manganese. Magnesium is very different.
Manganese has a narrow therapeutic index, meaning a small window where it is useful, then may become toxic if overused.

I am sorry, I don't know much about cissus... but it does look inexpensive so far. Here is a WebMD link about it.
