hi Canagirl,

By all means stop the compound and see if that helps after a few days. It is just a topical after all. Something you said in another post triggered a thought process for me. You said you are on Domperidone, which made me think dopamine and involuntary movements. Twitching, nervousness and involuntary movements are all side effects of Domperidone. How long have you been on it? Isn't there something else the can give you instead? There are other drugs that address GI stuff if that is why you take it. This sounds like a terrible drug for you. Even if you didn't react badly to it initially it is always possible to develop an adverse reaction later on. Why make things any worse than they already are?

This made me think too of the value of pharmacy consults. We used to get them at the hospital I worked in. Pharmacists often know interactions and side effects better than doctors. If they know what symptoms are bothersome they may be able to find something going on with meds that was missed by medicine.
