Another Dr appt today. We are regrouping after having an appt with the specialists ripped out hours before the scheduled time. The WC 2nd opinion said I was suffering from a psychological issue not physical damage. If I would exercise more then my arm would stop turning white. He found no reason I couldn't go back to work and lift 70lbs, no problem. Go for it.

Meanwhile, back in reality my ortho, neuro physio and pt are all screaming TOS TOS.

Ortho tells me that seeing the specialist in St Louis is still the goal. The only way I will get my arm squared away is there. We have known for a while that there is nothing else he can do as an ortho. He gave me my permanent restrictions today. These were determined by the functional capacity assessment. I didn't gain much. I don't know how this will change what I am doing at work now (limited duty). It simply means that *at this point* I will never have the movement and strength to go back to my regular job. He said the specialist may be able to do more.

The insurance company will likely try to close now. Doc suggested I should expect to appeal to get anything done in St Louis. So we prepare for a fight and more months of hassle. If this is as good as I can get here then I HAVE to go there. I am glad this Doc is helpful, even if he cant help me medically. TOS is just out of the range of normal. I appreciate him being honest and helping me get to someone who can help.

So, hope remains.
