I've been having some crazy visual issues that I thought could be a possible retina detachment, but when I went to the ophthalmologist everything was in perfect condition, including my vision (20/20). So they referred me to neurology, where I had an emergency MRI(1week wait time) and the results were perfectly normal. I think because of that I can assume its a psychiatric disease, but I can't pin it to anything. Thought I could get your opinion. Here are my symptoms: Extreme visual snow, the black version of it, night blindness because of buildup of visual snow and curtain over eye, depersonalization, memory issues for recent things, ( days to weeks ) , issues telling what day it is or how much time has passed, ( i constantly find myself thinking its Friday when it is actually Tuesday ), troubles remembering words and spelling words where I have had no problems with before, and probably the most important symptom of them all : hallucinations. Visual and Auditory. The auditory hallucinations are not inside my head, but not outside of my head. They are voices I can't recognize, and they feel as if they are circling my head. This doesn't happen every night, but it does happen throughout the week. The visual hallucinations happen almost every day at night, I see shadow figures coming at me and if I look at them they disappear. An example would be 2 nights ago where I saw a shadowy head near my far window, then a figure to my right. If I looked at the figure to my right, the head would come closer to me, if I looked at the head, it would disappear and the figure to my right would come closer to me. So I would have to constantly look at both. I have had hallucinations where a shadowy hooded figure has came from above me and swooped down to me. I've had visual hallucinations where my door is tilted and moving, the ceiling and walls seem to be breathing, and the floor does not seem real. I had a visual hallucination where I saw an arm come out of my arm, and feed me steak from a bowl that was not there. As if it was a hologram. I am 16 years old. What could this be??
