BF,
I think we all woke up to the station we fell asleep listening to in our teens. Even now I cannot fall asleep without some music on my tv or mp3 player. Now, though I set the 'sleep' function to turn them off after a while. I have to repeat this several times throughout the night due to my 'issues'.
In the car we listen to the Classic Rock station. 60S to 80s mainly, and I sit there saying things like 'I haven't heard this for 35 years! I was at (insert place name) when this came out!'
Music triggers such strong emotions and memories.
Dave.
