We have Pork Scratchings over here, made from the skin and fat from the back legs of bacon pigs. Cut into strips about half an inch long and fried to leave a thick layer of fat attached, then heavily salted.
We buy it in little bags, normally with a Pint in the Pub. It is not a snack for diets or those with heart problems - it is addictive. It is also lucky to find a piece with a hair still attached
Boy, do I miss them!
