Hi wallgin,
What you have experienced can and does happen. Is it typical, no. Not unless the injection is being given incorrectly or your nerves have an unusual pattern compared to most other people. It is not wise to keep getting this repetitive injection. So perhaps you can call your dentist, voice your concern and ask if there is another injection that can be given for the remainder of the treatment. Also ask if you should consult with an oral surgeon or other who might know what is happening.
