I am glad that dextrose helped with your shoulder.
Dextrose is just a chemical synonym for glucose (different words for the same thing).
Everybody has lots of glucose in their body - it has free access to all body tissues, including shoulders.
Glucose applied to your shoulder would rapidly diffuse out of your shoulder and join the glucose pool in the rest of your body.
