You can try soaking in lukewarm bath water that has epsom salts added. This often makes skin softer. The warm water will move off the upper epidermis which may be causing the itching.

Use about 6oz of epsom salts in lukewarm water...Don't use HOT as it will cause burning. If you have broken skin in lots of places don't use the epsom salts. Just soak in the warm water.
