Speed died, he was 150
Speed the tortoise who lived at the San Diego Zoo since 1930's died at about 150 yrs and he weighed about 450 lbs. Years ago children could ride Speed at the children's zoo there, but that was stopped. He had arthritis and other issues and was put to sleep as he was in a lot of pain.
