Shocked cervicogenic headache

Hi every one
thank you for letting me join.
I have been looking for a support group like this one for ages.
Unhappily in england where i live i cannot find one, so i'm glad to find and join with you all here. (sorry for my spelling)

i went to a & e and was sent home in aganising pain.
Then i saw 2 differant doctors and none new what my pain was( i had recovered from the first attack by then )
untill desperatly looking on the internet trying to find a was to stop it from happening again, i came across the symptoms of cervicogenic headaches.
I printed it out and took it to my doctor. And then he said it was very likely to be that and caused from my back problems. But he has done nothing else about it.(i'v had no tests or anything else)
my symtoms are:- i woke up with aganising pain at the back of my head and in the top of my neck, which got worce with movement.
Also felt a weight on top of my head.
A constant severe pain and stabbing pains. Far worse when trying to lying down. I could not even sit back. I had to sit very still all the time.
It lasted 4 days. I thought it was the worst pain ever, but that
was then. (about 12 monthes ago.) hot packs did help and then cleared up ok.
About 4 months ago it came back with a vengance, this time and nothing helped, not even my pain killers (buprenorphine a derivative of morphine & gabapentin ) both extreemly powefull drugs. And it lasted "7 weeks "
the most aganising pain i'v ever lived through. I have crushed bones befor now, and that was nothing compaired to this.
I could not move an inch. Just sitting there screeming in pain ,
24hours a day, , with no help.
When having to go to the bathroom. I felt like banging my head against a brick wall. Bending forward even a little was unimaganablely pain full, i just wanted to dye.
It started like the first time, in the center, bottom, back of my head and in the top, back of my neck, after a week or two it
seemed to move to the left by about an inch, it was slightly les pain but not by much, then again after about another week or two, it seemed to move a inch to the other side of the center of my head and this time it was worse than both the other pains put to gether, and these movements kept up untill it finally cleared up, but even now surtan movements of my neck can bring sharp pains, happily they dont last to long.
Sorry for going on so much, but i was wondering if any one has any info that could help me or that knows about this, as just knowing i'm not alone with this would be a great help.
I know every one here is suffering to.
Its just there does not seem to be any suppot in england, at least not that i can find.
Thank you all for reading this. Janie r
