The Prothena study seems to show that alpha synuclein levels appear to slowly increase again after the PRX002 drug (which immediately drops alpha synuclein 96%) is introduced so a regime of once a month IV may be used to keep the alpha synuclein levels low. Could it be that keeping alpha synuclein levels down will prevent/reverse PD? Sure hope so!
