Default Hubby and jury duty

Hubby got selected for jury duty in a civil suit.

He was not paying attention when the judge asked if anyone ever worked for an insurance company
(He did actuarial work at one time. He could have been out of there in a few minutes.)

When the judge told the jurors that they are not to go home to talk to their spouse or the judge could put the in jail,
hubby actually laughed aloud because he was sure that the judge was joking.

Apparently, the case involves technical issues. The judge said after closing arguments that everyone will have a little notebook to write any question
they have.
They lawyers and the judge will decide if the question/s can be answered in open court.

He said that judge also said not to Google any details of the case.
-------------------------------------
At home he asked me what an ATV was.
I said to leave me out of this and that that was an appropriate question for the notebook.

======
I worked to keep him calm and myself calm so that he can
function in his role.
