My parents had a hard time of letting go of stuff, my sister and I tried each time we visited them, it's got to be the lives from depression....holding on to everything. This friend who lost her husband was a pack rat and has hangings all over their house from their travels of the world....enough is enough I say. She said he loved cowboy hats and she found about 25 after he was gone...... then there are the horders a whole other "sickness".....

I have no problem letting go and do it often...no husband to hold me back and I know my daughter and grandkids could care less about most of my stuff....they are collecting all
their own stuff..

For me, being in SOM (Science of Mind) philosophy/principles for decades, we're taught to create vacuums in our lives so we can put something new into our lives, and give others our things we no longer need or want....I did that for many years, got rid of t-shirts so I could buy a new one, etc....now I don't shop much anymore, so I just get rid of stuff that hangs around. Once I had piles of tshirts, now very few, the ones most necessary in my life...

SIMPLICITY...
