“When I was tested recently for Vitamin D, I was in the single digits. This was only the second time in my life that my level was ever tested. The first time was about a year earlier when I was also in the single digits.”

Hi Hopeless, in my opinion your levels of vitamin D are dangerously low. If you have been supplementing vitamin D for the past year with little or no improvement, then you probably need to increase your dosage.

My vitamin D levels were also deficient, but they were much higher than yours. I am now taking 7800 IU of D3 daily, and I will be tested again in August to see what my progress has been.
