I'm one of those people who thinks everything has a "place". I cannot tolerate any kind of clutter or unorganization. I suspect it was my mother who instilled that trait in me.

I immediately throw away (recycle) any junk mail and only save receipts for large item purchases that might need fixing down the road.

My DS and DIL brought a few things for me to keep here at my house since I have the extra space. Some of it is furniture pieces that I've incorporated into my own decor. There were many small boxes which I stacked in my closet (it's a walk-in so lots of floor space).

My next project will be to get the garage cleaned out. Both of my sons have "stuff" out there but if you were to ask them what it was they'd not be able to tell you! Which is why I believe it can be tossed or recycled. I've threatened to leave my garage door open 24/7 with a sign that says "you take it....it's yours".
