That's great that you're helping your friend. Good job at the gym - that time is impressive!

Today, we had a call from the transplant clinic with an appt for my husband next week. He's already done all the blood work and tests so once he sees the transplant team, he could get a kidney anytime. We're so excited. He's been on dialysis for 3 years now. He's remained pretty healthy and still works a 50 hour week so we've been very fortunate. It will be nice to be able to have a "normal" life again and not have to be home early for him to "hook up". Not to mention ordering all the supplies and storing them.

I might even convince him to start going for walks with me as I can't seem to find a walking partner. My favourite time to walk is in the evenings when everything slows down.
