Low Vitamin D levels are common even in a healthy populations, especially in women. They are even more common in chronic pain and neurological problems, cause or effect? Could be both. Getting the level tested should be standard for pain or nerve conditions. Thankfully my neuro checked mine, despite my protests that I take a multivitamin and as an outdoorsy Texan get sunshine most every day. Yep, it was low.
