It's terribly hot and humid here as well! This is worse than Florida by far!
Have you called the cooling vest company to see which paks they are recommending? Have you also tried calling your local NMSS? They may have some suggestions, and they may even have some pamphlets about the vests available.
I've never used the vests before. When I'm going to be out in the heat for a long stint, I use a cold scarf around my neck that has been packed in ice overnight, and when it needs to be re-cooled, I simply buy some ice, and douse it in the ice for a bit.
Have fun at the theme park, and let's all hope we get some rain. We're having terrible droughts and fires down here.
