The alternative is learning how to control your anxious thoughts. Zyprexa is usually for short term use to get past a crisis. Lemesta is a benzo and should also not be used long term.
Learn to occupy your mind with non-anxiety producing thoughts. I watch some TV to put my mind into a passive thinking mode. I'm just thinking about the information presented on the program that does not effect me. I've used music videos. audio CD's, etc.
And, don't go to bed until your mind is ready to go to bed. You may need to start your process of getting ready to go to bed hours before. Bodily systems need time to settle down.
