Default If Going back to mMy Oral Surgeon

My situation:
March 30th: check up, found out that tooth #20 (a root canal tooth) was infected. tooth #19 (a tooth had filling in for years) needed new filling.
April 16th: #19 filling. Ever since the new silver filling, the tooth became very sensitive.
May 1st: #20 extraction.
May 28th: #19 grinding, because #20 was gone and there's no tooth in front to stop the bite, the tooth was very sensitive and the gums became swollen.
June 2nd: #19 grinding again. The tooth was still very sensitive and the gums still swollen. Right before the grinding, the tooth started having shocking pain. The pain came and went away every five minutes for a few days after the second grinding.
June 7th: I could finally start using #19 to kind of chew.
June 26th: I found out there's a blister under #20.
June 27th: I found out there's a blister under #19.

Since I was worried if #20 spot was completely empty after the tooth extraction and there's no infection in the spot, I went to see my oral surgeon. Before seeing him, I made a root canal appointment for #19. When I met with the oral surgeon, he took a look at the blisters and used his finger to wrap across the blisters. I asked him if there's infection in the tooth socket or #19, he said no. I told him that I made a root canal appointment, if I still needed to go, and he said no need. After the visit, I still felt the blisters were infection, so I went to the root canal specialist. The period between the oral surgeon visit and root canal specialist visit, the blisters conditions were almost the same, no better no worse. It turned out that it was an infection and I got a root canal treatment.

My question:
Should I keep going back to my oral surgeon? He talks slowly and it makes me relaxed. He extracted my tooth and he did a nice job. I am really debating if I should let him do my implant surgery or not since he told me the blisters were not infection but they were.
