The Ramipril is an ACE inhibitor.

Zinc levels are not part of a standard chem panel that doctors typically order. It has to be ordered separately. I'd get zinc, zinc/copper ratio, and copper while you are at it. We are seeing some posters here on PN low in copper for some reason.

Do you use acid blocking drugs like Prilosec (proton pump inhibitor) and Zantac (H2 antagonist)? These drugs lower acid in the stomach which is important for absorption of zinc and other minerals. (and also B12 and folate).
