Hi! Good luck with your new job! Your question about healthcare coverage is a good one. Littlepaw's advice about researching the cost of your meds is on the mark. If you can choose a healthcare provider with your new employer (small business dont usually offer a selection of companies, but larger corporations do) then you can go to each carrier's website with a list of your meds and look up the cost. I found costs varied between insurance companies and even which pharmacy i went to. You also want to make the doctors you see accept the insurance plan you choose. I havent figured out though how to compare costs for procedures like nerve blocks, xrays, bloodwork. Never mind understanding deductibles and co-insurance etc. The insurance companies can explain that stuff if you call them. Best of luck to you!
