With respect, the idea of eating "
alkaline foods" is a myth though it is popular in the comp/alt med community.
There is well-established physiology (the CO2/HCO3 equilibrium, catalysed by carbonic anhydrase) which keeps body pH within narrow limits (pH 7.4 or so).
What you eat will not change this - there is nothing "
chemical" wrong with you

I'm trying to get my body alkaline. It's tough to do. I eat mostly alkaline foods and still test acidic. That's the only "chemical" thing wrong with me.
