She does not need a Spectracell test. B-12, folate, D-3 and such are common blood tests. Thyroid testing is also worthwhile.

What are the NP, OT and therapist (PT ?) doing and having her do ?

Seeing a regular doctor every 2 weeks is overdoing it. Her recovery can not be measured in 2 week increments. In 2 weeks, she might just start to show a trend. It takes a month or more for a trend to be confirmed. Plus, what can these doctor visits even do to try to quantify her condition ?

In my view, she may be getting over-treated.

Forget about school coming. Do not set time goals. Let healing happen as it happens.

Find some simple activities for her to stay busy with to limit boredom.

What does she do all day ? How is her sleep ?

If she is going to undergo vision therapy, cut back on something else. Vision therapy may help.
