Besides burning, crawling, itching, numbness, prickling, "pins and needles", or tingling feelings, Neuropathy is also listed under the subheading of Central and Peripheral Nervous System. Ambien is intended for short term use and it is probably safe for that. Unfortunately, I had used it for more than 10 years and I stopped since I became aware of this information.
