hi enna. i'm so sorry you are having trouble with your hands and bp. i had rsd start in my wrist and hand and spread to other hand and feet, stomach and mouth over the course of five years. after four years i started waking up to occasional numbness in my hands and pins and needles that my pm dr said could be because of rsd flaring up. not much he could do but increase my gabapentin which helped a little. i also keep tabs on my bp and have had it spike at times but saw a cardiologist who did a bunch of tests and determined it was stress that was causing it. that's not to say rsd can't cause rapid heart beats but in this instance it was stress. i'm not a dr but if i were you i would maybe see a cardiologist just to get an ekg just to put your mind at ease. and let you gp and pm dr know about the pins and needles and numbness just to make sure it's rsd and not something else like diabetes. i also got bloodwork to rule out diabetes. whatever it is i'm sure you'll be okay. my guess is it's the rsd jumping around to other limbs but check with a dr to make sure. i also have tinnitus (ringing in the ear) in my right ear that i've had for about a year. rsd can sometimes trigger that too. gp and pm said not much they can do for that. just have to grin and bear it. it affects my balance too so walking with a cane helps me to not worry as much about falling. maybe the rsd is causing your fluttering in the ears and headaches. i know rsd can cause cluster headaches, but would check with your gp to make sure your ears are not having these symptoms for another reason. i hope you feel better soon my friend. just try to stay as calm as you can though i know it's hard and take it a day at a time. sending healing thoughts and hugs your way.
