I believe that you will have less withdrawal than you think, since you are taking the gabapentin as you reduce the Lyrica.

But do keep in mind that doctors tend to taper people offer very quickly from drugs, too quickly sometimes.

600mg of gabapentin is not worth the same in pain relief as 600mg of Lyrica. Lyrica is far more potent and efficient. So don't hesitate to ask for higher gabapentin if you need it during the taper.
