Thumbs up RSD Medical Warning Sheet for Medical Personnel

Hi Folks - Please print this terrific brochure and carry it around with you, especially to doctors' offices and hospitals. It's bigger than a MedAlert bracelet but a lot more useful. I recently encountered the police, ambulance, and hospital ED personnel and if I had had this with me it would have avoided a lot of the trauma described by many others here, too, that worsens RSD:
- NEEDLES - botched and repeated needlesticks in RSD-affected areas, IVs
- STRESS - conflicts accusations and arguments by health"care" providers that increase stress (and therefore pain)
- SENSITIVITY - Do Not Touch!! unnecessary physican exams, undressing, touching, noise, and light
- TEMPERATURE heat and cold - ice

It's called Hospital Protocol RSD/CRPS Patient: Handle With Care! http://www.rsds.org/4/resources/pdf/...rotocol_bw.pdf

It is relevant to all health care settings, not just hospitals. I highly recommend it.
