Default sorry .... other "openings" as well??

Sorry to bring more potential worries ....

Also monitor whether you have an increased tendency to wet your pants or feel like your urethra is slightly numb or more loose than before.

There is a huge number of nerves in all your "openings" (lips, urinary opening, etc), so if your tingling and numbness is to that level, you might be feeling this in all your "lips".

At the height of my neuropathy during chemo, I had the same sensation tingling, numb, lack of control in all my "lips". So my mouth was slightly drooling and I was slurring and had less control to tighten my mouth lips. At the same time I had the same sensation in my urethra and would lightly wet my pants if I wasn't careful. My partner was careful not too tell me jokes that were too funny and I feared sneezing.

This would go away and then come back again when my neuropathy would intensify after each infusion of chemo.

Luckily this was my pn at it's worse during chemo and has improved since that time and these particular symptoms went away.
