Hello and welcome to the NeuroTalk Support Groups.

I truly can't imagine that massaging the scalp could cause lesions inside your brain. There is a lot of matter between your skin and your brain including bone. You didn't have an illness prior to the onset of the migraines?

You might want to check out the
Headache Forum That includes Migraines.

You could ask try the
Epilepsy Forum

Some forms of migraine and epilepsy may share similar symptoms i.e. the scintillating scotoma or visual aura.

Also, some migraines can be headache free with people experiencing other symptoms of migraine without the pain basically.
