Default Long Nights- Eddie Vedder

My kindered spirit and much more talented musician Ed Ved did the soundtrack for the film Into the Wild based on a Jon Krakauer book if my memory served.

As much as Pearl Jam's music has spoken to my soul for over 20 years for the past two years this album has been my solitude soundtrack.

This track in particular is on point, as certainly anyone dealing with any chronic condition can relate to a sense of isolation at times. I am blessed, truly blessed, with a wonderful family system and a few really close friends who are on the journey with me, at times suffer with me.

Despite that, there are those long nights.

P.S. Sleep returned, huzzah!

second edit: Despite all the people in my tactile life that do understand my situation that does only go so far. Here that understanding is, well comraderie of sorts. They may not be the same issues, but something is misfiring or wrong. More wrong in one than the other, but life altering.

Rambling, but I cherish this place greatly. Painful numbness doesn't sound as odd here as it does most places...
