Good summation
I agree wuth everything you stated, johnt. I am worse symtomatically based on constipation, lack of sleep, when I eat high protein food near dosing, and on what activity I do. I seem to deplete my dopamine faster and sometimes supplement it with "nibbles" of a L-dopa pill. Anyone else do this trick?
I know we see fast proof that dopamine replacement works, but I am not convinced that lack of dopamine is the major cause of symptoms.
Since DBS seems so successful, maybe we should put a lot of effort into research studying the brain's electrical system. Remember pre- pacemaker days for the heart??
