I'm not allowed to wear sandals or anything open-toed at work, but I finally found a shoe that I can stand for 8 hours on my feet...Skechers Go Walks. I still take them off as soon as I get in the car to drive home, but they're the most comfortable shoes I've found. They come in sportier and also slip-on models, and are extremely light-weight. I have three pair of the tie kind, and also just bought a pair for golf.
