Have any of you used rubbing alcohol to cool your feet and legs? Do you know if besides drying your skin it has any other harmful side effects? I remember my mom using it on me when I had a fever and felt hot. I just tried it on my legs and it felt pretty good.

The reason I am asking is I find myself having to worry about stuff besides the usual things on my hurricane preparation list. Yes, I have a stockpile of my meds, etc, but if the power goes out that means the AC goes off and it will be incredibly hot inside my house. Heat triggers my SFN symptoms big time so I am trying to think outside the box.

Hopefully the storm will not come ashore, but even if this is a miss it is information I definitely need to store away. If you have any other suggestions please share.
