I use alcohol for the itching with a cotton ball have been doing this for A couple years. I use for the other symptoms once in a while but when itching so so bad I will pour it on my legs and wash with cold water then pat dry and use a cortisone.

For the neuropathy symptoms I have been using BenGay and Vicks together that has been working quite well plus I massage my feet.

Alcohol has never dried my skin cuz I but the moisture back generally I will pat Sarna that my dermatologist recommended that has a cooling effect.

Capcasian I used that too. But it burns me I am looking for soothing.

I don't find the alcohol to be long lasting for anything but the itching.
