I wondered if anyone has any ideas or suggestions?

The other question I had was about sleeping in the day. I usually have one nap and at least 50% of the time when I wake I have severe nerve pain over most of my body. This usually lasts till bedtime but sometimes eases in the late evening. I have to sleep because I'm exhausted but don't know what to do about this. Does anyone else have this?? Or is it just me?
This type are the only socks I can stand. You can goggle chenille socks or fluffy socks. They are very soft and generally very loose. I only picked this example from Amazon because the picture was best(these come with lotion in them, I just get plain one).....just wanted you to see what they look like. They are very loose on the foot, ankle and leg so work great for me.

I try not to nap but do rest. My neuropathy is mostly contained with Lyrica, Norco(hydrocodone) and interestingly, a blood pressure med called Clonidine seems to soften the neuropathy.

I had found this out by accident. Every once In awhile I take a drug holiday just to see where my baseline pain is. To help with withdrawals my doc gave me clonidine and it really helped with the awful "heeby jeeby"' buzzing feeling that comes with withdrawal. But, it also helped with dampening the neuropathy and basically just made me feel calmer. Since I have mildly high blood pressure issue, my pain doc and primary care doc agreed I could stay on Clonidine. It seems to have several off-label uses, and it is very inexpensive because it is an old medication.

My best, D

p.s. In the winter, around the house I don't often wear sock, where a soft, fleece lined boot type slipper or moccasin without sock. Just an example.....
