Default Concussion symptoms returned with weightlifting

Well, it has been quite some time since I've been in Neurotalk. That's because I've been feeling good, even normal, since January. With appropriate diet, sleep, and mindset, PCS can be mitigated and essentially eliminated.

Unfortunately, I'm not feeling good today. Yesterday, I went to the campus gym, which is and was uncharacteristic of me before my concussion. This was my first time exercising strenuously in months. BIG MISTAKE. Normally, I do app. 10 reps with each arm with a 20 lb. weight, slowly, in private, and while making a conscious effort to breathe deeply.

Yesterday, I did 2 sets of 10, feeling self aware of my frailness and the fact that others were watching. Didn't breathe properly either. Anyways, my arms are sore and I feel tired and fatigued now, my primary symptom while I had PCS.

Anyways, this is advice to anyone considering pushing themselves physically after even a lengthy time post PCS. DON'T. It's not worth it.

My question to the Nuerotalk community: has anyone had a similar experience? If so, how long until symptoms subsided?

Praying that this fatigue doesn't interfere with my studies significantly.
