So...you want news? we are 3 weeks away from moving into our dream home. This journey has been challenging to say the least. We just passed appraisal; now we are just waiting to see how much chimney repairs in the fireplace will cost. This has been crazy; we have had 2 contracts on our current home fall through, so we will believe this one will stick when we get their check in our hands.

Until then we don't want to touch anything for fear something will break and need repair/replacement. We have already replaced the control panel in our 5 year old dishwasher when that blew; we also put a new roof on after an inspector said it was horrible. We need to pay for remediation for high radon levels as well.

So that's my story. Our stress levels have been through the roof, but we are trying our best to hold on to one another until we move into our home. It's all just stuff anyway, right Sal Pal?
