I'm sorry to say that this is just a support forum for patients, and there are (as far as I know) no med professionals here, but some of us have a fair amount of knowledge about certain conditions based on personal experience and research.

I do think you need to see a doctor, and the sooner, the better, especially if the headaches are new or worsening. It can mean any number of neuro issues. A neurologist may be able to treat your pain with medication, but if you're found to have a condition that causes inflammation or atrophy (shriveling of brain tissue), you should see a neurosurgeon to determine if an underlying condition, such as hydrocephalus (from scarring from the meningitis) may require surgery.
