Heart World Suicide Prevention Day (9.10.15)
The International Association of Suicide Prevention is sponsoring the World Suicide Prevention Day today!

Prof. Ella Arensman, President of the International Association for Suicide Prevention (IASP) re: 2015 World Suicide Prevention Day:

The IASP has provided many ways to participate online and otherwise.
There are "...over 600 World Suicide Prevention Day activities in 71 countries throughout the world."

Just a few examples of ways we may participate:
We may light a candle near a window at 8 p.m.
We may obtain e-cards in over 50 languages to send to family, friends, others.
We may participate in IASP's WSPD's Face Book event today.
Banners are available in many different languages.

I only wish I had known about this sooner.
As I understand this, Sept. 10th is the date of this annual event, every year.
I hope to be prepared ahead of time next year.
