Hi Charleen,
Welcome to Neurotalk!
There can be so many contributing factors correlated to your physical symptoms. Some of those can be postural, muscular, dental malocclusion, dental infection and inflammation, bruxism habit, ill fitting dental restorations, chronic unrelieved stress, toxicity from heavy metals, even parasitic infections.
When you had your mercury fillings removed.... did the dentist utilize the protective protocol during the removal? This would include isolating the individual teeth being worked on with a rubber damn .... you breathing oxygen through a nasal canula .....a multi filtered vacuum positioned directly in front of you about 6 inches from your face ...high speed suction directly over the filling being removed ..... copious amounts of water used while drilling and immediate suctioning of all debris. Or did he just drill into the fillings with no precaution?
To help you understand the problems with all root canaled teeth, I would highly recommend that you read the book entitled "The Toxic Tooth, how a root canal could be making you sick" by Dr Robert Kulacz and Dr Tom Levy.
This is their second book on this topic and it is written for the layperson and the dental professional. Easy to comprehend and very deliberate and truthful in the information that it delivers.
I can give you all sorts of reasons why non vital root canaled teeth are a systemic health risk contributing to all sorts of problems, even those root canaled teeth that have been done textbook. But in your case, I really think that book would be most helpful to you.
You can buy it at Amazon or directly from the authors at :

During the course of my dentistry research I learn that my 5 (well done) root canals might justify extraction because they can cause infection. I prefer integrative/holistic/alternative medicine and I had all amalgam/mercury removed years ago but I'm uncomfortable about extracting all these teeth and wearing dentures in my 40's!
Is it possible it's limited to an occiput alignment problem? It would be a bummer to lose a bunch of teeth as a means of ruling out the cause...
Can someone give me 'straight talk' about my options and consequences?
