I've wondered about this too and some friends asked me if I knew the difference and I guess I didn't until now. I have a long history using grape seed ex and use a Muscadine grape seed that is higher in resveratrol. I take both these most days.

I'm older and MOST of my friends are older, most older than me. The ones who take grape seed extract are much sharper and quicker and the few who don't take it, are slower overall and more forgetful .. we play bridge and this game is a real mind bender.

My whole journey started with pycnogenol, then went to grape seed ex and never really bought straight resveratrol...but it's in some of my grape seed products.

Thanks for this explanation.
