You sound just like my husband. He thinks this is good because we can use the time to help me heal without the stress of a job waiting for me and now we can move anywhere.

You are right the SS supplemental plans are confusing. I have no idea how to pick one. I did this years ago for my mother-I was so afraid of paying mega medical bills I simply picked the most expensive one.

Hopefully, one of the local elder agencies will help us do a cost-benefit analysis so we can rationally pick a supplemental insurance to meet our needs.
