Recovery from TBI is rarely an uninterrupted, straight trajectory of improvement. Often, something as simple as a bit too much physical or mental exertion can make a patient feel, temporarily, pretty crumby.

Ups and downs and minor setbacks are pretty normal. Try not to sweat them.
