A few times at work, a few times at home during different scenarios. Being very aware of my body and anxiety, I immediately pay attention to any additional symptoms and find nothing more than my right eye and cheek feeling odd (I assume this is anxiety at work?).The episode is very brief (I'd say no more than a min) and occur infrequently. It had been days since the last occurance and this evening has me needing advice. I'm afraid it's a stroke or something horrible like that building up...Does anyone have any ideas of what this may be? I have no vision issues, no family history of anything other than anxiety, under and over active thyroid, and gi problems.
Have you ever had a concussion or hit your head pretty hard but didn't go to the doctor? Anxiety, heartburn and vision changes can be symptoms of brain injury. The odd feeling in your cheek could be related to that if you remember taking a hit to the head. If you are like me, there are probably some issues that you have always noticed over the years but you never kept track of them because they were subtle. I agree with the other folks that you should see a doctor but I would think really hard about anything that you might have found weird in your past. Good luck!
