Hi mottec

Welcome to NeuroTalk .

Dopamine can not cross the blood-brain barrier so eating supplements or other OTC products which allegedly contain it is pointless.

Dopamine is made in the brain from an amino acid called tyrosine, which can cross the blood-brain barrier.

The info in this link describes some natural foods which are good sources of tyrosine; http://mentalhealthdaily.com/2015/04...hink-tyrosine/ .

In my opinion eating in a healthy way is, unless there is some underlying medical problem, preferable to eating supplements.

All the best.
