Have you tried kratom? What is WINS and MBSR?

I have tried Kratom. It's really difficult to get down when you buy the powder and try to make tea or put it in applesauce. I have bought a something from amazon called Kava Kava-pill form and it worked for a short time and now I take it occasionally for sleep. The Kratom (which is different) gives me energy which is nice and it takes the burn out for a short amount of time. Worth a try.
WINS is Wearable Intensive Nerve Stim. I just bought one last week and it is really working with my pain. It cut my pain by almost half. I am on the fence about it because in the video that Chopra lectures he says don't use stimulators but this feels like it puts my nerves to rest when I have it on. I have an appointment coming up at a bigger medical facility so I am going to ask about it's affect on my nerves & those Glei (sp) cells.
MBSR is Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. It has by far been the biggest help. It was an 8 week course where I learned to accept my disease & my pain and breathe through it. The hardest thing I have ever had to do as it challenges a lot of beliefs that make up your core being. It taught to be in the Moment and how to meditate through the worst of my pain days. This also reduced my pain and my reaction to it. Check out the book Catastrophe Living by Jon Kabat Zinn. It was one of the best books I have read and is the book for the course.
I will keep you posted. It is a purchase I want to make.. but I am also concerned about upcoming medical bills.
